Tokens are bump's internal currency needed to subscribe, tip or buy a pass. With an account, you unlock the possibility to buy tokens and will be able to support your favourite creators.

There are a few different ways to sign up on bump, and they will all result in the creation of your account on the platform.

Locate the "Sign Up" button, and click to get started!

Creating an account via Magic Link will automatically generate a handle and display name for you. You can decide to keep it, or update it in your settings at any time.

You will also be able to create a password for your account if you go to your settings.

You can choose to create an account using your Google account. To do so, click on the Google button and follow the steps.

All your settings can be found under the "Settings" link when you click on your profile picture.

Your display name is what displays in the chatroom and on your profile. You can change it as often as you want, and it doesn't have to be unique

Your handle is unique to you and can only be updated once every 14 days (unless you're just changing the casing).

This is the color your display name and all default assets in your channel will have. Choose a new color by updating the colour code or use the color picker. Don't forget to save.

You can add up to 4 pronouns, just pick from the dropdown. Your pronouns will be displayed on your profile.

You can add a description that'll be visible on your channel home page.

You can add up to 10 external links for your social media accounts or websites. They will be visible on your channel home page.

Just click on Add new link, give your link a name and add its URL, then press update.

You can update your email at any point.

You will receive an email verification prompting you to confirm the change.

If you didn't add one during the sign up process, you can provide your date of birth here. You need a date of birth and complete either ID Verification or Age Verification to prove you are over 18, in order to unlock NSFW/Adult content preferences.

Perform an ID check in order to receive a verified checkmark. This is required if you want to create adult content or request payouts.

You need to have two-factor authentication setup in order to be able to ID Verify.

You can add a password or update an existing one at any time. You will receive an email notification confirming the change.

To add extra security around your account, you can set up 2FA. You will need 2FA setup in order to verify your ID.

Click on the "Verify" button and follow the steps. You will need an external authenticator app to scan the QR code or enter the code provided.

This will log you out of your account on every sessions you are still logged into, except the current one.

You will need to have a birthdate provided against your account and be over 18 to be able to toggle on NSFW/Adult content on the app.

You can also choose to blur NSFW/Adult content.

You can choose if you want to turn on or off go-live email notifications for channels you follow. This will be applied to all channels you follow.

You can decide to turn notifications off for specific channels when you are on their channel page or any of their broadcasts.
